Friends Welfare Trust by the grace of Allah and with the continuous support of Pakistani community in Kuwait has come a long way since its inception. Free medical camps, public health awareness programs, Teenage Health education program are the hallmark of the Trust's activities in Kuwait. FWT is running four health centers in Pakistan .These are in Rawalpindi, Kashmir, leyiah and Mianwali. Friends Hospital at Rawalpindi is being constructed with an approximate cost of 40 million rupees.

The Trust was founded by its four founder trustees in early 2005 with the aim to contribute to the current conditions of health services in Pakistan particularly in the rural and slum areas where health services and health awareness are almost nonexistent. The Trust is non-profitable, non-political, non-governmental organization registered with the Government of Pakistan with Register No. 5892. Book No. 1 Volume 1767 in Islamabad.
